Does anyone know who Liang Sheng-yueh is? He’s the Taiwanese man who was missing on a mountain in Nepal for 47 days and he was just discovered. How would you feel if you were him? His girlfriend had just died three days earlier and it must have been looking pretty hopeless. What would you do once you were rescued? How would your life change?
God doesn’t always do what we expect or would like God to be doing in our lives, and folk are always looking for someone to blame when things go wrong.
At the last supper Jesus said the following to his disciples: No longer do I call you servants… but I have called you friends. John 15:15 NRSV
